NEXCO EAST Koriyama Management Office (Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture) will be closing the entrance ramp to Shirakawa Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on the E4 Tohoku Expressway at night due to accident restoration work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

2. Detour

The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. Construction overview

Tohoku Expressway　At the entrance ramp of the Shirakawa IC, repair work will be carried out to repair a protective fence damaged by a traffic accident. The section where this work is to be performed is a single lane, and since it is not possible to perform the work using normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to close the ramp to perform the work.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic volume is low, so that the work can be carried out in an intensive and efficient manner. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.
