At NEXCO EAST Morioka Management Office (Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture), E4 A night-time closure will be implemented at the Yahaba Parking Area (hereinafter referred to as "PA") and Yahaba Smart Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "SIC") on Tohoku Expressway Out-bound (hereinafter referred to as "Tohoku Expressway Expressway") to repair damaged pavement.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

　特定の休憩施設にご利用が集中しますと、駐車マスの不足が考えられます。お時間にゆとりをもってお出かけいただくとともに、分散して休憩施設をご利用いただくようお願いいたします。

3. Construction overview

Tohoku Expressway　Out-bound The repair work will be carried out on the entrance and exit ramps of the Yahaki PA on the Route 2, 3, and 4 lines due to pavement damage. Since the section to be repaired is a single lane, it is necessary to close the ramp for the work since the work cannot be carried out with the normal lane restrictions.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic volume is low, so that the work can be carried out in an intensive and efficient manner. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.

Four. How to obtain traffic information

    The highway radio section is indicated by signs on the Expressway.
  • Highway Information Terminal
    We will inform you of road information in an easy-to-understand manner by the monitor screens installed in SA / PA.

    You can get road traffic information with VICS-compatible car navigation and other on-board devices.
  • Information is also distributed through the official X (formerly Twitter) account.
