NEXCO EAST Hachinohe Management Office (Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture) will be implementing night-time road closures as follows for pavement repair work and other purposes on the temporary two-lane sections (one lane in each direction) of the E4A Hachinohe Expressway from Hachinohe Junction (hereinafter referred to as "JCT") to Hachinohe Kita Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC"), from Hachinohe JCT to the Hachinohe JCT toll gate, and the E4A Momoishi Toll Road from Hachinohe Kita IC to Shimoda Momoishi IC.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

- When section [1] is closed, you will be able to drive from the Sanriku Coastal Road Hachinohe Korekawa IC to Hachinohe Expressway towards Morioka.
- In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.

2. Detour
For detours, please refer to the attached document [PDF: 248KB].
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.
3. 3. Construction details
Due to damage to the road surface, pavement repair work will be carried out on Hachinohe Expressway between Hachinohe JCT and Hachinohe Kita IC (both inbound and Out-bound lanes), the Hachinohe JCT → Hachinohe JCT toll gate (both outbound lanes), and Momoishi Toll Road Road between Hachinohe Kita IC and Shimoda Hyakuseki IC (both inbound and outbound lanes). In addition, tunnel lighting cleaning work will be carried out on the Sanriku Coastal Road between Hachinohe Korekawa IC and the Hachinohe JCT toll gate. In order to minimize inconvenience to customers, road closures will be carried out at night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and work will be carried out intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

- A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
