NEXCO EAST The Yamagata Management Office (Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture) will be closed at night for pavement repair work from Yamagata Junction (hereinafter referred to as "JCT") on the E13 Tohoku-Chuo Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Tohoku Chuo Expressway") upper and lower lines to the Higashine Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC").
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time when you go out.
1. Closed section and date and time
- Closed section:
Tohoku Chuo Expressway, inbound and outbound lanes, between Yamagata JCT and Higashine IC - The signs such as E13 attached to each route indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway, etc.

Usage Guide
- In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
- The decision to proceed with construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter), etc.
2. Detour
For detours, please refer to the attached document [PDF: 147KB].
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.
3. Construction overview
Due to damage to the road surface between Yamagata JCT ~ Higashine IC on the upper and lower lines of the Tohoku Chuo Expressway, pavement repair work will be carried out. In order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the road at night on weekdays when traffic is low, and carry out construction intensively and efficiently. This is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
