NEXCO EAST Aomori Management Office (Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture) will be closing the E4 Tohoku Expressway 's Owani Hirosaki Interchange (hereinafter referred to as the "IC") at night to carry out pavement repair work on the entrance ramps and exit ramps for both the In-bound down lanes.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

3. Construction overview

Due to damage to the pavement at the entrance ramp for the In-bound lanes and the exit ramp for the northbound lanes at the Owani-Hirosaki IC on Tohoku Expressway, repair work will be carried out. The section in which this work will be carried out is a single lane, and since the work cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to close the ramp to carry out the work.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the ramps at night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and carry out the work in a concentrated and efficient manner. This work is necessary to ensure that customers can use Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
