NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Miyagino-ku, Sendai) announces the traffic congestion forecast (concentrated traffic congestion of 5 km or more) at Expressway in Tohoku region during Golden Week [2024 Friday, April 26 - Monday, May 6: 11 days].
To ease traffic congestion, We ask for your cooperation in "dispersing use" by avoiding crowded days and times.
1. 1. Congestion forecast
On Expressway in the Tohoku region, it is predicted that traffic congestion of 5 km or more will occur 12 times in total, six times on the Out-bound line and six times on the In-bound.

NEXCO EAST 's customer website `` DraPla'' has a special site for traffic congestion periods. In addition to posting a traffic jam forecast guide on the special site, traffic jam forecasters from each Regional Head Office provide video explanations of key points for avoiding traffic jams. The traffic jam forecast guide will also be distributed in booklet form at each rest facility.
