At NEXCO EAST Sendai Administration Office (Aoba-ku, Sendai City), due to pavement repair work at the Sanbongi Parking Area (hereinafter "PA") and Sanbongi Smart Interchange (hereinafter "IC") ramps on the E4 Tohoku Expressway In-bound Line, Enforce night closures.
We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in the construction necessary for safe and comfortable use of Expressway.

1. Closed location and date and time

    September 20th (Wednesday) to 22nd (Friday), 25th (Monday) to 27th (Wednesday), 5th year of Reiwa
    Every day from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

  • In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.

2. Detour

Please refer to Attachment-1 [PDF: 329KB] for detours.
Due to the detour, the required time will be longer, so please leave with plenty of time.

3. Construction overview

Since the road surface is damaged at the Sanbongi PA and Sanbongi Smart IC ramps on Tohoku Expressway In-bound line, we will carry out pavement repair work. The section where this work will be carried out is a single lane, and since construction cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to work with the ramp closed.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, we will close the PA and smart IC at night on weekdays when traffic is light, and carry out construction work intensively and efficiently. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for safe and comfortable use of Expressway.

Four. Information on available rest facilities when closed at night

Due to the closing of the In-bound Parking Area at night, please use the service areas (hereinafter referred to as "SA") and PAs (Tohoku Expressway Tsurusu Parking Area, Chojabaru Parking Area, etc.).

Five. How to obtain traffic information
