NEXCO EAST The Kitakami Management Office (Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture) will close the E46 Kamaishi Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Kamaishi Road") up and down line between Hanamaki Junction (hereinafter referred to as "JCT") and Towa Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") at night due to pavement repair work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

2. Detour

The detour will increase the travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time before heading out.

3. Construction overview

Kamaishi Road Upper and Lower Line Hanamaki JCT ⇔ Towa IC will be damaged on the road surface, so pavement repair work will be carried out. In order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the road will be closed on weekday nights when there is little traffic, and construction will be carried out intensively and efficiently. This construction is necessary for safe and comfortable use of the Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
