NEXCO EAST Akita Management Office (Akita City, Akita Prefecture) will implement nighttime traffic closures and one-way alternating traffic restrictions (waiting time of about 15 minutes) on the E7 Akita Expressway due to pavement repair work, etc. as follows.
Therefore, when leaving, please leave with plenty of time and use detours when driving.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to customers using Expressway, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in the construction necessary for safe and comfortable use Expressway.

1. Closed section and date and time

• The signs such as E7 attached to each route indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway, etc.
• In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to a spare day. Please see the attached document [PDF: 673 KB] for information on extra days and detours in case of postponement.

2. Construction details

Pavement repair work will be carried out on Akita Expressway due to damage to the road surface. In order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will implement construction work intensively and efficiently by restricting traffic on one side during the daytime and closing traffic on weekdays when the traffic volume is low. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for safe and comfortable use of Expressway.

Due to the detour, the required time will be longer, so please leave with plenty of time.

Four. About transfer adjustment due to traffic closure

◆ How to use transfer adjustment
《ETC customers》

• Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow designated IC wirelessly and the re-inflow designated IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles)
• ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
  Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
• Insert the same ETC card for all journeys and pass through the ETC lane at the tollgate.

<< Customers for cash, etc. >>

• Customers who pay by cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow designated IC, and then get the "passport" at the re-inflow designated IC, and then make the "transfer" at the toll booth that pays the fare first. Please give us your "certificate" and "passport".

《Common to customers such as ETC and cash》

• If the suspension of traffic is released after the outflow designated IC is released, the fare will be adjusted even if it is re-introduced from the IC (including the outflow designated IC) in the closed road section in the forward direction.
