NEXCO EAST Akita Management Office (Akita City, Akita Prefecture) is located on the E7 Akita Expressway Akita Kita Interchange (IC) in the provisional two-lane section (one lane on each side) to Kotooka Moridake IC. For pavement repair work, etc., we will implement nighttime traffic closure and one-sided alternate traffic regulation (waiting time of about 15 minutes) as follows.
Therefore, when you go out, please leave with plenty of time, and when you drive, please detour to National Highway No. 7.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to customers who use the Expressway, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in the construction work necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably.

Night traffic

  • May 9th (Monday) to 20th (Friday), 4th year of Reiwa
    Every night from 20:00 to 6:00 the next day [10 nights]
• [2] Showa Oga Peninsula IC-Gojome Hachirogata IC (upper and lower lines)
  • May 23rd (Monday) -June 10th (Friday), 4th year of Reiwa
    Every night from 20:00 to 6:00 the next day [15 nights]
• [3] Showa Oga Peninsula IC-Kotooka Moridake IC (upper and lower lines)
  • June 13th (Monday) to 17th (Friday), 4th year of Reiwa
    Every night from 20:00 to 6:00 the next day [5 nights]

• The night traffic will be closed from 20:00 on weekdays to 6:00 the next day.
  (Friday night work will be done until 6 am on Saturday)

Alternate traffic regulation on one side

• The regulation start time is from 9 o'clock only every Monday.
• It takes about 15 minutes to wait. (Excluding Saturdays and Sundays)
• It may be canceled depending on the weather, so please check the latest information from websites such as "DraTra" when using the Expressway.

Five. Construction details

Pavement repair work

We will repair the pavement of the provisional two-lane section and install a wire rope to the median strip.

6. About transfer fee adjustment due to traffic closure

For customers who temporarily flow out of the Expressway due to nighttime closure, bypass the closed section, and transfer in the same direction again, we will make a "transfer adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the section used.
