NEXCO EAST Yamagata Management Office (Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture) has a provisional two-lane section (one lane on each side) from the E48 Yamagata Expressway Yamagata Junction (JCT) to the Tsukiyama Interchange (IC). In the meantime, we will close the road at night as follows due to the renewal work of the tunnel lighting equipment.
In addition, NEXCO EAST Tsuruoka Management Office (Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture) is conducting pavement repair work between the E48 Yamagata Expressway Yudonoyama IC and Tsuruoka IC on the provisional two-lane section (one lane on each side). Therefore, we will close the road at night as follows.
Therefore, when you go out, please leave with plenty of time, and when you drive, please detour to National Highway No. 112 etc.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to customers who use the Expressway, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in the construction work necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably.

The guard rail stanchions on the culvert box in the provisional two-lane section will be repaired due to aging.
Tunnel lighting equipment renewal work
The tunnel lighting equipment in the provisional two-lane section will be updated due to aging.
Pavement repair work
We will repair the damaged pavement.
Inspection of equipment in the tunnel
We will carry out inspection work on information boards and measuring equipment in the tunnel.
Five. Regarding transit fare adjustment due to suspension of traffic
For passengers who leave the Expressway once due to a nighttime suspension and bypass the closed section and transfer again in the same direction, we will make a "transit adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the section used.
