NEXCO EAST Iwaki Management Office (Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture) removed the rockfall protection fence from the E6 Joban Expressway Soma Interchange (IC) to the Shinchi IC on the provisional two-lane section (one lane on each side). Due to construction work, etc., we will close the road at night as follows.
Therefore, when you go out, please leave with plenty of time, and when you drive, please detour to National Highway No. 6 etc.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to customers who use the Expressway, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in the construction work necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably.

Reiwa 4th February 28th (Monday) -March 9th (Wednesday) 20:00 every night to 5:00 the next day
[Preliminary day: Thursday, March 10th, Friday, March 11th]

• The nighttime closure will be from 20:00 on weekdays to 5:00 the next morning.
  (Friday night work will be done until early Saturday morning)
• It may be canceled depending on the weather, so please check the latest information from websites such as "DraTra" when using the Expressway.

Around 268.9KP on the Joban Expressway, the rockfall protection fence will be removed and a temporary guardrail will be installed because the slope excavation has been completed.
