NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba-ku, Sendai City) is for winter on Expressway with the aim of encouraging early replacement of winter tires and enlightening safe driving on snowy roads as the snowfall season begins. We will investigate the tire installation status and announce the results.
The winter tire installation rate in Tohoku as a whole is 69%, which is higher than the previous survey (53%).
Snowfall was observed in various parts of Tohoku last week, and full-scale winter is just around the corner, so please change to winter tires early and drive safely when using the Expressway I will.
