NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba-ku, Sendai City) is for winter on Expressway with the aim of encouraging early replacement of winter tires and enlightening safe driving on snowy roads as the snowfall season begins. We will investigate the tire installation status and announce the results.
The winter tire installation rate in Tohoku as a whole is 33%, which is higher than the previous survey (17%).
In normal years, the possibility of snowfall tends to increase from this week, so please change to winter tires early and drive safely when using the Expressway
