NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) will hold "Highway Festa Tohoku 2016" at Sendai City Kotodai Park on September 24 and 25, 2016.
Enjoying for all the visitors by gathering local people from all over the area along the Expressway six prefectures of Tohoku, and by directly publicizing "things unique to the area" that you can not experience unless you go there. It is an event to have you rediscover the charm of the Tohoku region.
We hope that this will stimulate local motivation and stimulate tourism motivation, which will lead to the activation of inter-regional exchanges.
In addition, this event marks the 15th time this year. This year, the Tohoku Tohoku Expressway in the Tohoku region will be celebrating its 30th anniversary, and with thanks to the history of the Tohoku Expressway and customers, the event will be enlivened with the subtitle "Thank you, Tohoku Expressway 30 years".
