NEXCO EAST Aizuwakamatsu Management Office (Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture) is a two-lane section (one lane on each side) between the Ban-Etsu Expressway Aizuwakamatsu Interchange (IC) and Tsugawa IC for road repair work, tunnel equipment repair and inspection/ In order to carry out cleaning, we will carry out night traffic closures as follows.
Since this work is necessary to maintain a safe and comfortable environment on the Expressway, we apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, but we ask that you make use of the detour (National Route 49) of the general road. Thank you for your cooperation.

4 Construction content
We will perform road repair work, tunnel equipment repair, inspection and cleaning.
5 Regarding transfer fare adjustment due to suspension of traffic
For passengers who leave the Expressway once due to a nighttime suspension and bypass the closed section and transfer again in the same direction, we will make a "transit adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the section used.
How to use transit fare adjustment
[Customers of ETC]- Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow IC wirelessly and the re-inflow IC wirelessly. (“Transit certificate” will not be issued for ETC vehicles)
- ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
- Customers who pay in cash, etc., must receive the "transfer certificate" at the outflow IC, collect a passport at the re-inflow IC, and pass the "transfer certificate" at the toll gate that pays the fee first. Please give me your ticket.
Precautions regarding transit fare adjustment
*After canceling the suspension of traffic, the transfer fare will be adjusted even if the traffic flows in from the outflow IC.
6 Information provision
It will be light rain, but it will be postponed if there is a possibility of heavy rain.
In addition, the decision to implement the road closure will be made at 16:00 on the day of implementation.
