  • The traffic volume of GW between Joban Tomioka IC and Namie IC was 11,200 vehicles/day, an increase of about 3,000 vehicles/day compared to the traffic volume one month after opening.
  • This is thought to be due to the conversion from the Ban-Etsu Expressway and Tohoku Expressway, etc., resulting in a decrease in traffic congestion on the Tohoku Expressway.

  • The maximum length of congestion on the main line is 16.0 km (-17.9 km compared to the previous year), and the Shirakawa Interchange (IC) to Sukagawa on the Tohoku Expressway Saturday, May 3 (9:09 to 11:34 peak time 10:35) It occurred between ICs (In-bound line). This traffic jam was caused by an accident and traffic concentration near the Shiraishi Central SIC.
  • The amount of traffic congestion was 236 kmh (26% of the previous year), a decrease of about 70%.
