NEXCO EAST Tohoku Branch (Sendai-shi Aoba-ku), aiming at the early winter tire replacement, will aim to raise a safe driving of snow road driving, in the coming snowfall period, for winter use on expressway We will investigate the mounting condition of the tire and announce the result.
Compared to the previous survey (conducted on November 10), the winter tire installation rate is higher in the entire Tohoku region. However, in Miyagi, Yamagata, and Fukushima prefectures, where the first snowfall has not yet been observed at the prefectural capital, the winter tire installation rate is low compared to the same period last year.
In the normal year, the first snow is observed at all prefectural offices in the Tohoku region during November, so please change your winter tires early and drive safely when using the Expressway.
