NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) will hold “Highway Festa Tohoku 2012” at Sendai City Kotodai Park.
From all over the areas along the Expressway six prefectures of Tohoku, we have collected "products and folk arts unique to the region" that you cannot experience unless you go there. We hope that all the visitors can rediscover the charm of the Tohoku region and contribute to the revitalization of Tohoku tourism.

The world heritage "Hiraizumi" and the reconstruction support booth will display the Chusonji Kinshido made of about 30,000 blocks made by a model builder certified by LEGO.
At the "Yae and Aizu Hiroshi" introduction section, a panel about the main character "Niijima Yae" of the next year's taiga drama will be exhibited
