NEXCO East Japan Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) established a disaster prevention headquarters after the earthquake that occurred off Miyagi Prefecture at 23:32 on April 7, 2011.
The Tohoku Expressway Hiraizumi Maesawa IC-Misawa IC (In-bound line) was being temporarily restored due to the earthquake, but the construction was completed and the suspension of traffic was canceled at 6 o'clock on April 10. I will let you know.
As a result, all the road closures due to the earthquake were lifted.

3 Summary of major damage
Tohoku Expressway Hiraizumi Maesawa IC-Misawa IC (In-bound line) has an embankment deformation (the embankment on the road shoulder is about 20m in height and about 30m in length) at the embankment structure. However, the emergency restoration work was completed.
