At the NEXCO East Japan Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City), the disaster prevention office was set up in response to the earthquake that occurred around 14:46 on March 11, 2011.
Currently, we are carrying out emergency inspections by blocking roads where there was a large amount of shaking.

- Tohoku Regional Head Office is managing, Aomori, Akita, Iwate, Miyagi, Yamagata, Fukushima Prefecture (Tohoku Expressway: Shirakawa IC north, Joban Expressway: Iwaki Nakoso IC north) of the Expressway out of, All Expressway except the above sections are closed to ensure safety.
We will remove the road closure from the point where safety is confirmed.
