NEXCO EAST Tohoku Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba-ku, Sendai city, Regional Head Office president: Mikio Kashima) is conducting a "toilet refresh plan" with the concept of "welcoming you in a warm and comfortable toilet space even in the cold winter." We are working on improvements in line with the renewal due to deterioration. In connection with "Toilet Day", we will inform you of the details of the renovation and the progress status.
1 Contents of refresh plan
Conducted in all toilets
- Western toilet rate for toilet seats should be 60% for both men and women.
- Currently 40% (500 units)
- All Western toilets will be heated and flush toilets.
- Install hand dryers in all toilets.
- We will install hot water compatible automatic water washing at least one place on the hand wash counter.
Implemented in conjunction with large-scale renovation of interior and exterior
- In the men's and women's toilets, we have a wide type toilet booth that can be used by children for changing diapers or using a wheelchair.
- Make lighting fixtures and interior materials in all toilets to make them bright.
- All men's toilets will have heights that are easy for children to use.
- Make all toilets barrier-free.
Other
- We will actively adopt clean energy.
- It supplies electricity for toilet lighting by solar power generation.
