This is the first time that ITC has been arrested in Iwate Prefecture due to an ETC lane breaking through.

The Road Maintenance Special Measures Law was amended in accordance with the privatization of road related 4 public corporations on October 1, 2005, and the toll booth was breached in violation of the traffic method (authorized by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) established by the Expressway company. Criminal penalties will be imposed on drivers of cars and other vehicles that pass by.
