NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Regional Head Office, Aoba-ku, Sendai City, Manager: Mikio Kashima) and Nex-area Company Limited Morioka Branch (Morioka City, Branch Manager: Ikubun Kono), Iwate, We would like to inform you that the "NEXCO EAST 2nd New Menu Contest Morioka Block Qualifying Session" will be held for restaurants in the service area (SA) and parking area (PA) of Akita Prefecture.
In order to provide customers who use SA/PA with hearty dishes that will make you feel “delicious” more than ever, we will refer to regional specialties or use local ingredients, The head chef of SA/PA restaurants (seven stores) in Iwate and Akita Prefecture is acting under the theme of "oriented, low-calorie local cuisine".
On that day, one of the seven works will be contested with the aim of exhibiting at the "NEXCO EAST 2nd New Menu Contest" held in Tokyo.
The 7 works that will be exhibited at the qualifying session will be on sale at the SA and PA restaurants from December 20, so please enjoy them.

3. Content
The chefs of SA/PA restaurants (7 stores) in Iwate and Akita prefecture will present their works and compete. In addition, the Michinoku Gourmet Gold Award winning menu will be exhibited at the "NEXCO EAST 2nd New Menu Contest" (held in Tokyo).

NEXCO EAST offers local specialty products, locally harvested vegetables, and local specialties that can only be eaten there, with the keyword "Hana-zukuri", depending on the location conditions of each SA/PA. We aim for a unique service.
