NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City, Regional Head Office President: Mikio Kashima) We started a winter tire installation survey on Expressway to understand the winter tire installation status and request customers to install it early.
1 Status of winter tire installation on Expressway
Tohoku Regional Head Office in, Expressway in major interchanges (IC), has been carried out every year the mounting survey of winter tire in the early winter period, it began also survey from November 5 this year.
The results of this survey and the first snow days at the Japan Meteorological Agency's major stations are as follows.
The next survey is scheduled for November 12th.

(1) If you are going to the north-east or north, wear winter tires!
In areas with high altitudes such as Expressway and Ban-Etsu Expressway in Kita-Tohoku, it will be snowing on the road shortly after the first snowfall every year, so please wear early winter tires. To do.
(2) Even if you wear winter tires, drive carefully on snowy roads!
Even if you have winter tires, you may get into an accident because you are not accustomed to the speed, steering wheel and brake operation according to the snowy road. Keep a sufficient distance between cars, reduce speed and try to drive safely.
