1 Purpose of participation

Sendai/Miyagi DC will be held from October to December 2008 with the aim of establishing an attractive sightseeing area, Miyagi.

In order to lead Sendai and Miyagi DC to success, not only make use of abundant tourism resources, but about 90% of travelers in the Tohoku region use cars, and from the Tokyo metropolitan area I think that about 70% of those who come to Tohoku (Miyagi prefecture) should use the car. From this point of view, I think it is important how to tour abundant tourism resources by car to fully enjoy the charm and enjoy the transportation itself.

From this perspective, the NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office, which manages Expressway that play an important role in accessing tourist resources in various regions, maximizes the charm of this region under the theme of "hospitality" in cooperation with local residents. We will do our best to bring it to fruition, to make our customers satisfied by using the Expressway, and to make us want to visit Miyagi again.

2 Activities

Prior to Sendai/Miyagi DC in 2008, a "pre-campaign" will be held from October to December 2007. We will inform you of the details of the efforts during the pre-campaign period.
