NEXCO EAST Niigata Management Office (Niigata City) will be working with students from Shibata Prefectural Agricultural High School to create a flower bed on the E8 Hokuriku Expressway Kurosaki Kurosaki Parking Area (PA) Out-bound on Tuesday, October 17th.
This initiative, now in its 11th year, is part of the ``Flower and Green Peace Highway Garden Project,'' which aims to collaborate with the local community and create a space where customers can use the PA more easily and feel refreshed by maintaining trees and flowers. This will be carried out as follows.
On the day of the event, students from Shibata Prefectural Agricultural High School, approximately 20 related parties, and approximately 20 employees of our company participated, and they worked together to plant approximately 2,500 flowerbeds in seven colors of violas and violets that the students had grown.
