NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) E17 We will renovate the bridge between Minakami IC and Yuzawa IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway.
The work to be carried out this time is to replace the old slab of the Matsukawa Bridge (Out-bound side) in the target section with a new one.
During the construction period, All-day two-way traffic regulation that consolidates the upper and lower lines on the Matsukawa Bridge (In-bound side) and operates with one lane on each side to hold.
In addition, It is predicted that the traffic congestion associated with this construction will not occur.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but please note that customers using the target section should be careful when traveling. In addition, this work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Floor slab replacement work is a work to replace a concrete slab that is damaged due to deterioration or an increase in large vehicles with a new prestressed concrete slab that has higher durability. In addition, high-performance floor slab waterproofing is also implemented on the waterproof layer to prevent deterioration of the concrete floor slab.

6 Requests for use
- The construction section will be subject to face-to-face traffic restrictions throughout the day for approximately 2.4km. Since the current two lanes on each side will be reduced to one lane, please make efforts for safer driving and go out with plenty of time when using it. Also, please note that the construction period may change depending on the weather.
- Since the shoulders of the road are narrow in the two-way traffic regulation section, please observe the regulated speed when driving, secure the distance between vehicles, and be careful about rear-end collisions. In addition, the lanes will change significantly before and after the two-way traffic regulation section, so please follow the local information signs.
- Vehicles for construction work may enter and leave the area around the construction site, so please be careful when traveling ahead.
- Before going out, check the website such as "DraTra" for the latest traffic restrictions and congestion information.
