NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) will carry out a campaign to prevent unauthorized ETC traffic from Wednesday, February 1. The main causes of illegal ETC traffic are the expiration of the ETC card, forgetting to insert the card into the ETC onboard device, and forgetting to re-set up the ETC onboard device due to vehicle replacement. During this campaign period, we used an idol unit "Negicco" from Niigata as the campaign character to introduce the main causes and what to do in case of improper traffic.
