The Niigata Regional Head Office is also implementing initiatives such as displaying posters and signs that appeal to prevent illegal dumping of garbage on off-limits fences, and regularly carrying out roadside cleaning activities in collaboration with the community. We will carry out a clean campaign as follows during the National Waste Disposal Monitoring Week (May 30 to June 5).

Saturday, June 4 from 10:00 to 16:00 Roadside Station Arai (proximity to Arai PA on Joshin-Etsu Expressway)
2 Activities
- Exhibition of awareness panels to prevent illegal dumping of garbage on Expressway and reduce garbage brought in from home
- Distributing portable garbage bags by calling for requests such as "reduction of household waste"
- SA/PA cleaning activities by employees (picking up trash in the area, separating trash, etc.)
- Distribution of highway compost, which is made by recycling plant waste generated from tree pruning and mowing, as a PR for environmental activities
- In cooperation with the Green Curtain Project promoted by the Niigata Environmental Conservation Agency, distributed bitter gourd goods (Echigo Kawaguchi SA) and distributed bitter gourd seeds (Yoneyama SA)
