NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Nishi-ku, Niigata city, Regional Head Office: Yoshio Shiraishi) is congested on the Expressway in Niigata prefecture during the Golden Week period (12 days from April 28 (Wednesday) to May 9 (Sunday), 2010). 1 Congestion forecast during Golden Week
- We predict traffic congestion of up to 20km from Joshinetsu Road to Hokuriku Road.
Due to the effect of special holiday discounts *1, we predict that as many traffic congestions as last year will occur. Last year, we measured a maximum of 17km of traffic congestion on the Joshinetsu Expressway. Based on last year's results, we conducted a traffic congestion forecast (Attachment 1 [PDF: 182KB]). 2 Rest facility where congestion is expected and a rest facility scheduled to secure parking for large vehicles
