For customers who use Expressway, please refer to the comfortable driving forecast and shift the day and time of use, etc. and pay attention to the distributed use of Expressway, and make a comfortable travel plan. Please use it for making.
A new Expressway toll discount has started on Saturday, March 28th. Traffic trends are different from before, and the location, time, and scale of congestion may change. Please use the road traffic information that you can get before going out, while driving or taking a break, and use it for safe driving.
Also, to prevent accidents due to running out of fuel, please refer to the gas station business locations on the Expressway (Attachment 3 [PDF: 7.8MB]), etc. to help refuel early.
1 Applicable days of special holiday discounts
- December 26th (Sat) and 27th (Sun) Holiday special discount does not apply.
- Special holiday discounts are applied from January 1 (Fri) to 5 (Tue).
The special holiday discount will not be applied on December 26th (Sat) and 27th (Sun) at the end of the year. Weekday discount applies to ETC time zone discount. In addition, special holiday special discounts will be applied on January 4th (Monday) and 5th (Tuesday), so please use the Expressway decentralized. (See Attachment 1 [PDF:46KB] for details.)
2 Concerning traffic congestion forecast for the year-end and New Year period
- On the Joshinetsu Expressway, traffic jams are expected from January 2 (Sat) to 3 (Sun).
Even during the year-end and New Year holidays, it is predicted that congestion will occur on the Joshinetsu Expressway, so please use the traffic congestion prediction information and shift the customer's usage day and time before and after the day and time when traffic congestion is predicted to occur Please use it in a distributed manner. As a result of the special holiday discount, we are forecasting traffic congestion based on the actual traffic volume increase and traffic congestion conditions that were confirmed during the traffic congestion period. Traffic congestion may occur even in areas where you do not. Also, as traffic conditions can change significantly due to accidents, weather conditions, etc., please check the latest road traffic information before departure. 3 Rest facilities where congestion is expected and rest facilities where large-scale vehicles are planned to be secured
- It is predicted that the rest facilities of Joshinetsu and Kan-Etsu Expressway will be crowded.
- We will focus on securing large vehicles for parking at the rest facilities of Joshinetsu Expressway.
During the year-end and New Year period [Saturday, December 26th-Tuesday, January 5th], there are rest facilities that are expected to be crowded and rest facilities that are planned to secure large-sized car parking areas as follows. Please note that even rest facilities not listed in the table below are expected to be more crowded than usual.
