Night traffic closure due to pavement repair work on the Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway (between Hoei Niigata East Port IC and Nakajo IC)

NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office Niigata Management Office (Konan-ku, Niigata City, Director: Hiromitsu Shimomura) closed the nighttime due to pavement repair work between the Niikai Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway Hoei Niigata East Port Interchange (IC) and Nakajo Interchange (IC). 2 Construction content

Pavement repair work

This section is a provisional two lanes (one lane on each side), and the regulations for construction work are alternate traffic regulations on one side. Therefore, by implementing these in a centralized and efficient manner, the number of traffic regulations will be reduced, which will affect customers. In order to reduce traffic to the utmost, we carry out traffic closures at night when traffic volume is low, and carry out intensive pavement repair work.

Road closure enforcement map and request for detour by general national road

When closing, please detour to general national highway No. 7 (new and new bypass).

It takes about 15 minutes between Hoei Niigata Toko IC and Nakajo IC, but if you use general highway No. 7, it will take about 35 minutes under normal traffic conditions.
