2. Construction details
The content of construction number ① is to replace the concrete floor slabs that have been damaged due to aging and the increase in large vehicles with new, more durable concrete floor slabs.

- The photo is an example of floor slab replacement work at Onikuma Bridge (upper and lower lines) on Nagano Expressway.
The work indicated by number ② is to reinforce the road surface against the upheaval and damage caused by the expansion of the ground in the tunnel. In order to make the ring-shaped structure stronger for the tunnel, which is subject to excessive force from the ground, an invert will be installed to improve stability.
- What is an invert? The bottom of the tunnel is connected to an inverted arch using concrete, increasing the strength and preventing subsidence and deformation.

3. Requests when using
- The construction section will be closed to traffic throughout the day. In some sections, traffic congestion is predicted starting at the construction site, so please leave with plenty of time to spare.
- Since the lanes and road shoulders are narrow, please observe the speed limit when driving, secure a distance between vehicles, and be careful of rear-end collisions. In addition, lanes will change significantly before and after the restricted section, so please follow the local guidance signs.
- Vehicles for construction work may enter and leave the area around the construction site, so please be careful when traveling ahead.
- During the construction period, traffic congestion may cause traffic congestion. Before heading out, please check the latest lane regulations and traffic information on the websites listed in "4. How to get traffic information." Also, please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.
- During the construction period, we will provide congestion information using LED information boards, provide information on construction regulations using road information boards and road signs, and call for caution for safe driving. Please check these information before driving, and please drive safely.
