The entrance to and exit from Tokyo NEXCO EAST Miyoshi Smart Regional Head Office (hereinafter referred to as the "Kan-Etsu Expressway IC"), which connects to the Miyoshi Parking Area (hereinafter referred to as the "PA") (both inbound and outbound lanes) on the E17 Kan-Etsu Expressway (hereinafter referred to as the "Kan'etsu Expressway"), which has been developed by Miyoshi Town in Saitama Prefecture and NEXCO East Japan Kanto Branch (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture), will open at 3:00 p.m. on 2024.
All vehicles with an ETC onboard unit and a length of 12m or less will be able to pass through the smart IC connected to Miyoshi PA (both inbound and outbound lanes).
Please note that the operation of the Miyoshi Smart IC (In-bound lanes) will change, and you will no longer be able to use the Smart IC (In-bound lanes) after stopping at the Miyoshi PA (In-bound lanes). For details, please see "Appendix 1 [PDF: 155KB]".

- Vehicle type restrictions (regular cars, light cars, and motorcycles with a vehicle length of 6m or less) will be lifted for the entrances and exits heading toward Niigata that are currently in operation.
