Regarding the "Tokyo Outer Ring Road Tomei Junction Lamp Shield Tunnel Underground Widening (Southbound) Construction" which is being carried out by NEXCO EAST Tokyo Outer Ring Construction Office (Nerima Ward, Tokyo), please go to Tomei Junction (Kitami, Setagaya Ward). The excavation of the shield machine that had started was temporarily stopped, and the parts located at the rear of the shield machine were being cleaned.
At that time, deformation of some parts was confirmed, so excavation will be temporarily halted and work will be carried out to replace the deformed parts.
Furthermore, we have confirmed with experts that there are no safety issues with the tunnels and shield machine equipment constructed in the segment, and that this event does not impair the safety of the ground surface.

２．変状部品の交換作業について
シールドマシンの掘進作業を一時停止し、裏込め注入材や土砂を伴う地下水のシールド内への流入を防止するための部品（テールシール）の清掃作業を行っておりました。
その際、部品の一部で変状が確認されたことから、今後の掘進作業を考慮し、変状した部品の交換作業を行います。
なお、作業のため、一時的にシールドマシンを稼働させる場合があります。
