At the NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), we will carry out pavement repair work and countermeasures against reverse driving at the entrance ramp of E16 Yokohama Yokosuka Road (hereinafter "Yokoyokomichi") Bessho Interchange (hereinafter "IC"). We will be closing at night.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time when you go out.

2. Detour

Refer to the figure below for detours.

• Yokoyokomichi In-bound Line Bessho IC ⇒ Kariba IC If you detour as shown by the blue arrow in the figure below, it will take about 13 minutes (usually about 3 minutes).
• Yokoyokomichi Outbound Line Bessho Out-bound ⇒ Hino IC If you detour as shown by the pink arrow in the figure below, it will take about 13 minutes (usually about 3 minutes).

Detours will increase the time required, so please take time to go out.

3. Construction overview

Yoko-Yokomichi Up-and-down line At the entrance ramp of Bessho IC, road surface repair work and reverse-run countermeasure construction (road markings, color pavement) to prevent reverse-running on Expressway will be carried out due to damage to the paved road surface.
The section where this work will be carried out is a single lane, and since construction cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to work with the ramp closed. In order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed at night on weekdays when traffic is light, and construction will be carried out intensively and efficiently.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for safe and comfortable use of the Expressway.
