At NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), take the E16 Yokohama Yokosuka Road (hereinafter "Yokosuka Road") up and down line Sahara Interchange (hereinafter "IC") to Mabori Kaigan IC. We will close the road at night to inspect, clean, and repair the facilities and equipment in the tunnel and road structures.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you will have time to spare when you go out.

2. Detour

Please refer to the diagram below for detours.
If you detour between Sawara IC and Maborikaigan IC as indicated by the blue arrow, it will take about 10 minutes (usually about 4 minutes).
Also, if you detour between Yokoyokomichi Sawara IC and Uraga IC as indicated by the pink arrow, it will take about 9 minutes (usually about 3 minutes).
Due to the detour, the required time will be longer, so please leave with plenty of time.

3. Construction overview

In order to keep the Expressway in good condition at all times between Sawara IC and Maborikaigan IC, we will inspect the facilities and equipment inside the tunnel, and inspect, clean, and repair the road structures.
The section where this work will be carried out is a section with one lane on each side, and since the work cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to carry out the work after the main road is closed. In order to minimize inconvenience to customers, we will close the road at night on weekdays when the traffic volume is low, and carry out work intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary for safe and comfortable use of the Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
