NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) conducted a joint disaster prevention drill at the E17 Kan-Etsu Expressway (hereinafter "Kan-Etsu Expressway Expressway") Takasaka Service Area (hereinafter "SA") (In-bound line) assuming an earthquake directly beneath the capital. Therefore, commercial facilities will be closed at night and the use of some parking spaces will be restricted.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers and ask for your understanding and cooperation.

    Reserve date: October 17, 2020 (Monday) 20:00 to October 18 (Tuesday) 6:00 am

Five. About disaster drills

At NEXCO EAST, after the Great East Japan Earthquake, rest facilities on Expressway were used as gathering points and relay points for related organizations such as the Self-Defense Forces and fire departments. and operates as a disaster prevention base. This time, at Kosaka Service Area, one of the disaster prevention bases, we will conduct a joint drill involving related organizations on how to operate the disaster prevention base in the event of an earthquake directly below the Tokyo metropolitan area.
