　群馬県甘楽町（町長：茂原　荘一（しげはら　しょういち））と東日本高速道路株式会社　高崎管理事務所（群馬県高崎市　所長　本間　英貴（ほんま　ひでたか））が共同で事業を進めている、E18上信越自動車道　甘楽かんらPAに接続するスマートインターチェンジ（スマートIC）の名称を決定しましたのでお知らせいたします。

Concept of name

In order to make it possible for users of the smart IC to clearly determine that it is an ETC-dedicated smart IC and that it is an entrance / exit installed in an existing PA, the name of the PA is "​Kanra Kanra". I used it as "Kanra Smart Interchange".

Background to the name decision

This name was decided based on the opinion of the Road Sign Optimization Committee, which is organized by road managers in Gunma Prefecture, after being examined by the "(tentative name) Kanra PA Smart Interchange District Council" consisting of Kanra Town and other areas. Based on the draft, it was decided through the prescribed procedures by the Japan Expressway Holding and Debt Repayment Organization.
