NEXCO EAST Kazo Management Office (Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture) will take measures against traffic accidents at the Iwatsuki Interchange (hereinafter "IC") and Kazo IC on the E4 Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter "Tohoku Expressway Expressway"). We will close the lamp at night to carry out construction work and repair work on damaged pavement.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you will have time to spare when you go out.

2. Construction overview

At the Iwatsuki IC ramp on the Tohoku Expressway, we will carry out traffic accident countermeasure construction (color pavement) to prevent accidents on the expressway.
In addition, pavement repair work will be carried out because the road surface is damaged at the entrance and exit ramps of the Kazo IC.
Since the section where this work is performed is one lane and construction cannot be done under normal lane regulations, it is necessary to close the lamp and perform the work.
Therefore, in order to avoid inconvenience to customers as much as possible, we will close the lamps on weekday nights when traffic is light and carry out construction intensively and efficiently. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary to use the expressway safely and comfortably.
