  • Rest facilities within the closed section will be closed as follows.
    Aqualine Umihotaru Parking Area 21:00 pm to 5:00 the next morning
  • In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
  • We will inform you of the implementation decision on Twitter etc. around 17:00 on the day.

2. Detour

The detour will take longer, so please leave plenty of time.

3. Construction overview

Twenty-three years have passed since the opening of the Aqua Line, so in order to keep the road structure in good condition, we will carry out tunnel fall prevention work and road structure inspection. Since it is not possible to carry out construction and inspection under normal lane regulations, it is necessary to close the road and carry out the work.
Therefore, in order to avoid inconvenience to customers as much as possible, we will close traffic at night when traffic is light and carry out construction intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary for you to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Four. How to obtain traffic information

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

  • Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
  • A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.

    The highway radio section is indicated by signs on the Expressway.
  • Highway information terminal

    Road traffic information can be obtained from VICS-compatible car navigation and other on-board devices.
