NEXCO EAST Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Management Office (Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture) and Kisarazu Construction Office (Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture), E14 Tateyama Expressway (hereinafter "Tateyama Road") Futtsu Chuo Interchange (hereinafter "IC") E14 Futtsu-Tateyama Road (hereinafter referred to as "Futatemichi") At the Tomiura IC, we will carry out night traffic closures in order to repair and inspect road structures and repair pavements.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you may have some time when you go out.

1. Closed section and date and time

Implementation date: 2020 From June 29th (Monday) to July 3rd (Friday) every day from 21:00 pm to 5 am the next morning
Preliminary day: 2020 July 6th (Monday)-10th (Friday) 21:00 pm-5:00 am the following day

  • The rest facilities within the closed section will be closed as follows.
    Fudatemichi Highway Oasis Furakuri 20:30pm-5am the following morning
  • In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
  • We will inform you of the implementation decision on Twitter etc. around 17:00 on the day.

2. Detour

Refer to the figure below for detours.
If you make a detour via Route 127 between Tateyama Road Futtsu Chuo IC and Tomitate Road Tomiura IC, it will take about 50 minutes (usually about 25 minutes).
Detours will increase the time required, so please take time to go out.

3.Outline of construction

Tateyama Road Futtsu Chuo IC-Tomitate Road Tomiura IC will be closed at night for repairing and inspecting continuous road structures such as tunnels and bridges and paving repair work. To avoid inconvenience to our customers as much as possible, we will carry out construction work intensively and efficiently by closing roads during the nights on weekdays when traffic is light.
This work is necessary for safe and comfortable use of the Expressway so we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

4. How to get traffic information

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

  • Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
  • A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.

    The highway radio section is indicated by signs on the Expressway.
  • Highway Information Terminal
    We will inform you of road information in an easy-to-understand manner by the monitor screens installed in SA / PA.

    You can get road traffic information with VICS-compatible car navigation and other on-board devices.
