2 Traffic regulation period

• Before and after face-to-face traffic regulation, we will control the passing lanes of the upper and lower lines continuously for day and night for preparatory work.

3 Traffic restrictions

For floor slab replacement work, the two-lane section of the upper and lower lanes will be reduced to one lane, and face-to-face traffic regulation will be implemented to concentrate on the Out-bound lane. At the beginning and end of the construction period, the overtaking lanes of the upper and lower lanes will be regulated as preparation for switching to face-to-face traffic.

4 Construction overview

27 years have passed since the opening of 1993 at Kokuzozobashi (In-bound line), which is located between Nagano Azumino IC and Mami IC.

During this time, fine cracks caused by an increase in wheel load due to an increase in the size of the vehicle and salt contained by spraying the deicing agent during the winter caused deterioration of the concrete floor slab and rust on the reinforcing steel. In order to replace the concrete floor slab part of the bridge, it is necessary to close the In-bound line and perform the construction, so the two lanes on the Out-bound line will be face-to-face operation of one lane for each of the upper and lower lanes as floor slab replacement work Is what you do.
