NEXCO EAST Misato Management Office (Misato City, Saitama Prefecture), C3 Gaikan Expressway (hereinafter “Outer Ring Road”) Outer Loop of Kawaguchi Junction (hereinafter “JCT”) S1 At the ramp that flows into the Shuto Expressway Kawaguchi Line (hereinafter referred to as "Shutochu Expressway"), we will be closing at night in order to replace the expansion device.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you may have some time when you go out.
1 Closed place and date
(1) Closed point Kawaguchi JCT ramp that flows into the Metropolitan Highway from the outer ring of the outer ring road

(2) Date and time
Implementation date: Monday, October 29, 2018 and Tuesday, October 30, 2018, from 20:00 each night to 5:00 the next morning
Preliminary days: Monday, November 5, 2018 and Monday, November 12, 2018, from 20:00 to 5am the following morning
- In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
- Judgment of construction will be made at 16:00 on the day.
2 Detour

3 Construction overview
The expansion and contraction device installed at the bridge-to-bridge connection has been damaged due to deterioration over time, causing rubber peeling on the surface, exposed iron plates, and rust on bolts. We will replace the telescopic device. Since the construction site is one lane and it is difficult to secure a traffic zone during the construction, it is necessary to close the lamps before starting work. Therefore, to avoid inconvenience to our customers as much as possible, we will close the lamps during the night on weekdays when traffic is light, and will carry out the work intensively and efficiently. Since this work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
4 How to obtain traffic information
(1) Guidance by distribution / posting- Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
- A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
