NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) and Trans-Tokyo Bay Highway Co. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) were Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Umihotaru Parking Area (below) on August 2 (Thursday). We will recruit 250 members who want to participate in the popular event "Aqualine Expedition" held at "2018 Summer Festival in Umihotaru" held at "PA").
This "Aqualine Expedition" has reached its 12th anniversary this year, and more than 2,000 people have participated so far. Since it is possible to infiltrate behind the aqua line, which normally cannot be entered, it is a social tour project that can be enjoyed by adults as well as children, and it is a very popular tour with an application rate of over 10 times every year.

2 What is Aqualine Expedition
"How did you build bridges and tunnels in the sea? ], "How thick is the wall of an undersea tunnel?" , "If a traffic accident or fire occurs in the undersea tunnel, where will you escape?" "...
The Tokyo Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway, which crosses Tokyo Bay with a bridge and a submarine tunnel, has many construction techniques and safety measures that are not generally known. The aqualine expedition will explore the backyard of the Expressway and get closer to the true image of the unknown aqualine.
In addition, there are many things that you cannot usually experience, such as tours inside the ships owned by the Ministry of Defense Self Defense Force and the Japan Coast Guard, and test drives of working cars.
Furthermore, this year, Dr. Helicopter will be coming to Shima in conjunction with the "Theatrical Code Blue x Umihotaru" campaign! Vehicles of "land, sea, air" gather in Umihotaru PA.
The Aqualine Expedition will be held as part of the "2018 Summer Festival in Umihotaru" held on Thursday, August 2. Details of "2018 Summer Festival in Umihotaru" will be announced later.
