NEXCO EAST Tokyo Bay Aqua Line Management Office (Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture) decided to remove the entrance installed at the upper part of the tunnel entrance of the Kisarazu side of the Aqua Tunnel with aging,CA Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway "Aqua Line" (upper and lower lines) between Kawasaki Ukishima JCT and Sodegaura IC, and Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway connecting road "Below (Aqua Line connecting road)" (In-bound line) between Kisarazu Kaneda IC and Sodegaura IC Will be closed at night.

In order to minimize the impact on customers, we will carry out the work intensively and efficiently by closing the roads at night on weekdays (Tuesday-Thursday) when traffic is light.

2 Detour (Please cooperate with customers who use it from 23:00.)

Customers using the Aqualine are advised to consider wide-area detours (using the Shuto Expressway, East Kando, Keiyo, Tateyama, etc.) and changing the outing time. Also, please check the latest traffic conditions before going out.

Wide area detour

It takes about 80 minutes for a wide-area detour (when the route between Kawasaki Ukishima JCT and Kisarazu Kaneda IC is via the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway, Higashi-Kandou, Keiyo-do, and Tateyama-do).
(Approximately 12 minutes travel between Kawasaki Ukishima JCT and Kisarazu Kaneda IC via the Aqua Line.)

3 Construction overview
