4 Connection adjustment due to suspension of traffic
For passengers who leave the Expressway once due to a nighttime closure, bypass the closed section, re-enter and transfer in the forward direction, we will make a "transit adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the section used .
Tollgate where you can transfer
Outflow designation IC | Re-inflow designated IC | |
---|---|---|
Nagano Expressway Out-bound line (Joshin-Etsu Expressway (Sakashiro IC direction) | [Nagano Expressway] Sarah IC SMART IC smart (only for ordinary cars and ETC cars) Asahi IC | [Joshin-Etsu Expressway] Sakashiro IC Ueda Sugadaira IC Tobu Yunomaru IC |
How to use transit adjustment
[Customers of ETC]
- Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow IC wirelessly and the re-inflow IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles.)
- ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
[Customers for cash, etc.]
- Customers who pay in cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow IC, then collect the passport at the re-inflow IC, and then the "transfer certificate" at the toll gate where the fee is paid first. Please give a pass ticket.
Notes on transit adjustment
If the suspension of traffic is released after the outflow designated IC is released, the charges will be adjusted even if it is re-introduced at an IC (including the outflow designated IC) in the closed section.
