1 Construction location and date and time
- (1) Construction location:
- Each lamp of Tomobe JCT flowing into Joban Expressway from North Kanto Expressway West
- (2) Date and time:
- October 16 (Mon), 17 (Tue) every day and night from 21:00 to 6:00 (preliminary day is the same time)
(Preliminary Date October 18 (Wed) - 20 (Fri))
- In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
- Construction will be judged at 17:00 on the day.
2 Detour
It is not possible to use the Joban Expressway from the North Kanto Expressway bound for West during construction.

Attachment 1 [PDF: 369KB] Follow the blue arrow to get off the Ibaraki-cho Nishi IC, take prefectural road 59 toward Mito, turn left at the Kawawada-cho south intersection, and take National Road 50 to the Mito IC.
It usually takes about 8 minutes, but if you use the alternative route, it will take about 15 minutes.
It should be noted that, from the northern Kanto Road eastbound Joban Expressway customers you wish to use, Joban Expressway customers you wish to use the North Kanto road from, you can traffic as usual.
3 Construction overview
Since the road surface is damaged at the ramp of Tomobe JCT heading from the north Kanto Expressway west bound for the Joban Expressway Express Line, we will carry out pavement repair work. There is only one lane to carry out this construction, and it is necessary to close the lamps before carrying out the construction, as the normal lane regulations may pose a danger to the construction.
Therefore, in order to avoid inconvenience to our customers as much as possible, we will close the lamps at night when traffic is light and carry out construction work intensively and efficiently.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that customers can use the Expressway safely and comfortably.

4 How to obtain traffic information

- A banner will be posted on the bridge over the northern Kanto road.

5 Regarding connection adjustment due to closure
For passengers who leave the Expressway once due to the nighttime closure, bypass the closed section and transfer to the Joban Expressway again, we will make a "transfer adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the section used. (Attachment 2 [PDF: 197KB] reference)

How to use transit adjustment
<Customers of ETC>- Please use the same ETC card for the entire process of the toll gate that once leaks, the toll gate when transferring, and the final toll gate after transferring, and please use ETC wireless communication at both the entrance and exit.
(No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles) - ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
The price display shows the amount before the price adjustment. The amount will be the amount after adjusting the fee when billing from a credit card company, etc. at a later date.
- Customers who pay in cash, etc., must receive the "transfer certificate" at the outflow IC, collect a passport at the re-inflow IC, and pass the "transfer certificate" at the toll gate that pays the fee first. Please give me your ticket.
