NEXCO EAST Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Management Office and Kisarazu Construction Office (Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture) have 4 lanes between the Tateyama Expressway Kimitsu Interchange (IC) and Futtsu-Tateyama Road Tomiura IC on a 2-lane section (1 lane on each side). Kimitsu Parking Area (PA) In-bound ramp outflow lamps will be switched with the construction work, part of the rockfall protection fence will be removed, pavement repair work will be carried out, and inspection and cleaning work will be done on the tunnel equipment. Along with this, from November 7th (Monday) to 11th (Friday), every night from 21:00 to 5:00 the next morning, we will be closed at night in the same section.

2 Detour

The detour route between the Tateyama Expressway Kimitsu IC and Futtsu-Tateyama Road Tomiura IC is Route 127. The time between the Kimitsu IC and Tomiura IC (about 36km) is usually about 30 minutes, but if you use the detour route, the time will be about 70 minutes, so please take time to go. 3 Construction overview

Tateyama Road 4-lane construction

Tateyama Expressway (Kimitsu ~ Futtsu Takeoka) Kimitsu PA In-bound We will switch the outflow lamps and part of the rockfall protection fence as the construction progresses.

• In-bound Kimitsu PA In-bound line outflow lamp switching work
  We will switch the Kimitsu PA outflow lamp on the In-bound line due to the widening work accompanying the 4-lane construction.

• Removal work of rock fall protection fence
  The rockfall protection fence, temporary guardrails, and blindfold nets that were installed as a safety measure for the service lines along with the construction of the Tateyama Road (Kimitsu-Futtsu Takeoka) to 4 lanes will be removed sequentially as the construction progresses.

Tateyama Road/Futtsu Tateyama Road Maintenance Repair Work

Traffic safety measures such as repair of pavement damage points by traveling vehicles and prevention of breakthrough of median strip, inspection of emergency equipment and lighting equipment of consecutive tunnels (number of tunnels: 16 places, extension: about 9.2 km) in the section concerned・In order to maintain a good condition at all times, such as cleaning and repair, we will carry out improvement work and repair work.

• Road maintenance work
  We will improve the runnability and safety by improving the damaged parts on the pavement and improving the road markings (lane marks).

• Facility maintenance work
  We will inspect and clean the tunnel lighting and emergency equipment to keep them in good condition at all times.

In carrying out these works, in order to minimize the impact on our customers, we will close the roads during the nights on weekdays when traffic is light, and will carry out the work intensively and efficiently. We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that our customers can use the Expressway safely and comfortably.
